Well decided to pony up and play at NL50 for the first two weeks this month. Ran a little bad, hit a few coolers. Watched the EV line shoot up which gave me some comfort. But rather than be smart I then decided to take a shot at NL200 because that's what bad players do when the run bad and get cooler ed and chase there losses. And 1500 hands later I shut the computer off. In three hands I got set over set, all in preflop as a %60 fave lost and got half of someones chip stack in where they hit there runner runner gutter ball on the river and checked!? allowing me to check behind?.

Anyway spent the rest of the month back at NL25 to regain and push a little profit for the month. I ran +3.7/100 ptbb/100 for 45K hands. Which led me to think why didn't I just play the whole month at NL25?. Not sure why I sucked so bad at NL50. Of course it didn't help that in three 500 hand sessions I had kings vs Aces four times each. So in the last 30K hands I am only up $100 :(. But anyways moving up has the same effect as NL25 had on me when first taking shots. Bigger money swings causing more emotional drama. The beats only seem worse as the money you lose is more. I think even though I am a bankroll Nit that I might need to play another month or two at NL25 to work on my game some more and bolster the money well.

Now for game review. I still haven't been able to bring my PFR% up past 9%. So my stats are still 13/9/2.6. For some reason my attempt to steal went down. Seemed like this month I was getting played back or having blinds defended way more. Or I was just getting better table selection and wasn't getting enough hands to value town on people. I found myself playing a lot looser than I normally do which near the end of the month caused me to lose a little of my profit. Don't know where it was coming from but I was trying to cram out platinum star level which I hit in the last 4 days. Felt like I just gave up and stopped taking peoples bullshit which was about 50/50 until 25% of the good 50 drew out on me.

So for this month focus on bringing my ATs up more and not getting into pots w/ marginal hands unless I know that I can steal the pot vs certain players. Tighten back up a little and think about red line for this month are my focuses. And if at all bringing up my pfr% would be nice.
